Computer Disaster Strikes!

Today my computer died without any warning…It started fine this morning then died while we walked the dog.

I had bought a warranty extension which was still valid but the tech could do nothing by phone to save it. They have to send a box ..then I must mail it back and it could be a month before it's fixed and returned.

I had not backed up my files for a year ..so much was lost.

We get busy and don't even realize that we hadn't done it in far too long.

It is a real shock. It was a real eye opener to how much our computer is a part of our life and how much we depend on it. I use my laptop and not my phone much at all. For a month I will have to learn how to access all my sites on my phone instead…..not happy!

Then there are those saved to your computer pass words that we did not write down….as we should have.

So I am going through withdrawal symptoms but this is a test to see how well I can adapt and figure things out.
