Fighting Cancer Holistically Is Sometimes a Lonely Battle.
Being an herbalist and Fighting Cancer Holistically Is Sometimes a Lonely Battle. Thank You, subscribers!
I have been an herbalist and researcher for over 40 years. I have practiced holistic medicine for all of these many years. I used it to save my daughter, whose immune system was destroyed by her first vaccines 40-some years ago. That is why I became an herbalist and turned away from the doctors I worked for and standard medicine. It cost me a marriage, but saved her life. It set me apart from others, being one of those people.
I am an empath as well, where you feel others’ pain, both mental and physical. I enter a room and I feel it all. I see it is the way a person walks, their facial expressions, their voice, and their eyes, and it’s hard. I can feel that people have little time on this earth. I am drawn to those who are in pain and whose lives are near the end. I never felt like I found my tribe where I fit in. I think that Substack is where finally, I have found a group where I fit in and can share my knowledge.
I have lived herbal medicine the past 40 years!
I have used Herbal healing over the years to deal with a genetically bad leg that is prone to blood clots, to deal with all kinds of lesser colds and flu. I have had NO shots including COVID or flu. I have only been in the hospital to have my 3 kids and had them naturally. I do live what I preach.
Now, when I am a senior, I am tackling bigger foes, bigger than the Lyme disease, which we both have had to knock down, and that is cancer in my back and my husband’s CLL. Cancer is a much more daunting adversary than ailments, with more precise ways to treat it. It comes with the question of whether you will win or lose the battle. Cancer comes with various possible paths with no concrete answers. There are months you may not get answers …just going forward with faith, research, and God’s strength. You are fighting for yourself or a loved one. It is a heavy burden.
At our age, will this be our last battle, or will we go on to fight?
I chose to start writing here in Substack because there are more of us, the different ones, here writing on Substack. People here are writing with courage about the danger of vaccines, the Covid hoax, the destruction of our health by the standard medical system, by the doctors who only care about the bottom line, and those who have important information but are silenced elsewhere.
I am writing here as well because most of us have no support from family or community, who rush to line up for more boosters or more chemo. Here you can find others who share your views and are interested in your words, your experience, with their ears open. Here we are seen for what we are… the messengers, the healers, the ones who are trying to save others.
I almost gave up writing here this week. I asked myself, “Is what I have to tell people important when there are so many others here who have amazing Substacks?
I came on tonight and saw a notification that I had a paid subscriber. He paid for a year’s subscription. I had asked God for a sign, and his paid subscription was the sign. I had been debating closing down my website because of the costs to keep it running. I was debating whether I should retire my computer.
I hope he realizes how his faith gave me renewed inspiration to keep writing and to keep fighting. We are in the hole monthly for my website, The Alternative Medicine Directory, so any paid subscriptions help fund that. It takes $500 a month to fund the alternative medicines we are using to fight my husband’s CLL.
One person, one paid subscription, can make all the difference in the world when you get tired and think no one is listening. I may only have a small subscriber base, but all of you are important, paid and free subscribers.
Writing here on Substack is important, and I hope to give you information and research that gives you the strength to keep fighting. I know how hard it is in your personal lives and battles. You can contact me here if you need someone to hear your struggle and know that someone cares!
I realize that all of us, the writers here, both well-known and just beginning, the ones who have been fighting for years without recognition, all of us, if we impact just a few, are important.
We need to keep fighting and writing, even when we get tired of the battle.
So, Thank You to my subscribers this evening for giving me the encouragement to keep writing.
